HeadMouse replaces the standard computer mouse for people who cannot use or have limited use of their hands. It translates natural movements of a user's head into a directly proportional mouse pointer movement. HeadMouse has a wireless optical sensor which tracks a tiny disposable target worn by the user on his/her forehead, glasses, or hat. 

Main Features: 

  • Provides hands-free access to a computer, tablet, or Speech Generating Device (SGD).
  • Tracks head movement with the user located anywhere in front of his/her computer display.
  • Works in any lighting environment – from complete darkness to full sun.
  • High tracking resolution, pixel-precise control available to perform such tasks as drawing, photo editing, graphic illustration, and Computer Aided Design (CAD).
  • Connects to a computer, tablet, or speech generating device through a USB port and operates using standard mouse drivers.
  • Integrated tilt sensor automatically adapts to any mounting orientation.
  • Installation consists of plugging HeadMouse into a USB port.
  • A tiny Target Dot is typically worn on the forehead, glasses frame, or the brim of a ball cap.
  • A sheet of 50 Target Dots come with each sensor and more are available in fifty or in the more economical 200 count pack.

  • Selections and mouse button operations can be performed using a variety of adaptive switches, including Sip/Puff SwitchOrby, and mouse button software, such as Dragger.
  • HeadMouse Nano has an integrated infrared receiver for wireless adaptive switches using Beam.
  • When used with an on-screen keyboard such as SofType or KeyStrokes, HeadMouse provides access to the full range of keyboard and mouse functions.
  • A sheet of Target Dots is available in fifty or in a 200-count pack.
  • A variety of optional HeadMouse Nano mounts are available for notebook computers, flat panel displays, and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) devices.
