Sensory Aids

The types of sensory aids a student may require are based on which of the senses are limited.  In the classroom, the required senses are generally limited to:

  • Hearing what is being said and/or not hearing other noise that can break concentration.
  • Seeing what is being presented in the classroom, including other people, what is written on boards or projectors, and teaching materials
