Product Description: 

Board Builder is a communication app for the iPad used to build communication boards with voice output. It uses recorded speech and provides some sample pictures and boards which are category based. You can build several boards and link them to a central menu but cannot be linked to each other. Boards can be created with 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 or 12 cells. Some pages require scrolling.  Board Builder is an app for the purpose of building choice boards, albums, if/then scenarios, or lesson plans for individuals with autism, speech disabilities or delays, communication difficulties, cognitive impairment, or brain injury victims.

Main Features: 

  • Customize boards by arranging photos that the individual will recognize.
  • Boards can then be saved and edited. 
  • This app can be used to replace picture boards, picture books, or expensive augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
