GEWA Connect helps users control the appliances in their home by using built-in and downloaded apps with a smartphone or tablet. The remote control app can operate a TV, turn lights on and off, and open windows and doors or z-wave units such as the Andromeda Socket.

  • The system is operated by any type of switches, such as button switches, sip and puff controls, or any type of switches that suits user needs.
  • The Abilia Multibox is connected to a device, a smartphone, or tablet, via Bluetooth. The GEWA Connect app is installed on the device and acts as an interface that receives commands from the switches attached to the Multibox.
  • Manage the environment with either list view or grid view.
  • Switch between row and point scanning depending on the app and function being used.
  • Includes a built-in alert function to call for help. Press the switch for 8 seconds to send an alert signal to a predefined receiver. The function is performed in the Multibox, which means that if the app for any reason is unavailable, you can still send the alert.
  • GEWA Connect is portable. Users can teach the system remote control commands for places regularly visited outside the home. 
  • All settings are stored via the web service myAbilia. This means that if users lose their phone, their settings are downloadable to a new phone or tablet.
