Product Description: 

The IG-30 system allows the easy integration of flexible gaze-controlled computer systems, which allow people with severe physical handicaps the effective communication and environmental control. The system's open architecture allows the use of many available software packages and customization to the user's requirements.

Main Features: 

  • For users with ALS, Spinal cord injury, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Brain Injury, and others.
  • Ability to fixate on objects on the screen for a short duration. The calibration is stored and therefore persistent over system restarts. The system operates well even if the user has some nystagmus or spastic head movements. It can also work on just one eye if the situation does not allow for binocular tracking.
  • The system interface has been carefully segmented to allow an independent operation by a handicapped user.
  • Applications within AAC:
    • Keyboard substitute (gaze writing).
    • Mouse substitute.
    • Internet browsing.
    • Email.
    • Games.
    • Speech synthesis.
    • Environmental control.
  • Additional information/accessories: The actual functionality of the system depends on the installed (AAC) applications. The IG-30 system acts as a gaze input device, which can then control the Windows desktop, many standard applications or dedicated. Seamless integrations, which maximize the usability of the system, are available for several AAC packages. Gazetalk 5 can be used as well.
