Product Description: 

MagniLink Vision is a series of desktop video magnifiers with HD magnification. All models feature low-vision adapted monitors and include reading tables.

MagniLink Vision HD

A desktop video magnifier with a choice of two monitor sizes, 18.5” and 23”. 

MagniLink Vision Premium

Features height-adjustable monitors to accommodate large books or other materials. This model features two camera options: True HD (720p) or True Full HD (1080p). Additionally, the reading table features a more ergonomic design.

MagniLink Vision HD TTS

Magnilink Vision TTS is a video magnifier with text-to-speech functionality. Use the CCTV mode for writing or reading. Switch to TTS mode to listen to the text displayed on the screen. Additionally, preferences for contrast enhancement, colors, fonts and more can be adjusted for each user and additional languages can be added at any time.

MagniLink Vision Split 

This model connects to a computer or external monitor and features the ability to display three different sources of content at once. Users can simultaneously magnify close-up materials, such as a book on their desks; their computer screens; and far-away content, such as a classroom whiteboard. If users don't want to split their screens between these three sources, they can also quickly switch between the three.

Main Features: 

These features are common to all versions:

  • Plug-and-play functionality.
  • Tactile menu buttons for ease of use. 
  • Low-vision adapted monitor features a matte surface with no glare or reflections, high brightness, sharp contrast, and accurate color reproduction. 
  • Reading table has friction brakes in the X and Y axes. The brakes can be used to provide higher resistance when the reading table is moved sideways and/or forward/backward. They can also be used to lock the reading table during transportation. 

The MagniLink Vision Premium includes these additional features:

  • All models are height adjustable for an ideal reading position. 
  • A paper stop located in the center of the smooth reading table helps users navigate and allows a working position where the arms are held close to their body.
  • Suitable in all lighting conditions and the user can choose between different lighting modes.

The MagniLink Vision HD TTS includes these additional features:

  • Text-to-speech functionality. Spoken text is synchronized with the magnified text.
  • Easy operation: designed for intuitive operation. Press the orange button on the control box to toggle between the CCTV and speech mode. Use the tactile buttons to adjust volume, speed, display modes, etc (see the picture above). If the paper is misplaced the orientation will automatically be corrected. Text can also be read upside down and deliver a warning if the paper, for example, is placed face down. 
  • Highly adjustable: Preferences for contrast enhancement, colors, fonts, and other functions can be adjusted for each user and additional languages can be added at any time. Text can be saved to or opened from the included USB-stick. To keep the sound down, the Vision TTS is equipped with a headphone jack for personal listening.
  • It is also possible to use the program freestanding / standalone ie without a connected reading camera. OCR process any saved text or image documents to be read aloud by the speech synthesizer.

The MagniLink Split includes these additional features:

  • Offers a reading camera (HD or Full HD) and/or a motorized distance camera (HD or SD). The monitor is available in either 18.5” or 23” dimensions (23” with full HD resolution). Users can also use their own monitor.
  • A large working space. Users can also choose a model without a reading table. To allow freer placement of the distance camera, users have the option of selecting a table-top stand or a wall or ceiling bracket.
  • HD quality: its low initial magnification allows maximal orientation (only 1.7x with an 18.5” screen and HD camera). Side-facing LED lighting to minimize shadows and reflections, coupled with perfect color reproduction give superior picture quality.
  • Optical Centre Focus: when using the zoom function or changing the split ratio, the Optical Centre Focus in the picture is retained, and the center of the object in focus will not be cropped when changing the ratio.
  • The control panel is designed with tactile buttons. There are several smart functions on the control panel, for instance, a foot pedal function (to switch between split-screen modes). The active camera is marked with an orange frame on the screen, and it is also possible to program different camera positions with a larger orange frame.
  • It is possible to add a holder for the external control panel, which facilitates when using the reading table and the cable can be hidden under the table.
