Modular Evolution is a computer keyboard system that features a Braille display, a Braille input keyboard, a standard keyboard that can be clipped onto the Braille display, and a numeric keypad. This system may be helpful for users with visual impairments who share a workplace computer with sighted colleagues or for those with changing eyesight needs and who prefer to have access to both Braille and standard keyboards.

Modular Braille Display: The Braille display unit is available with 88 or 64 Braille cells and uses Active Tactile Control (ATC) technology. It offers the following:

Active Tactile Control (ATC) assistance functions, including:
- Automatic scrolling: When text on the Braille display has been read completely, ATC automatically scrolls to the next position.
- Speed reading: A word is spoken when touching the first letter.
- Reading the whole line: The line will be read completely when triggered by a touch on the Braille display.
- Spelling when reading backward: When reading a Braille character twice, it will be announced.
