Mono Audio (Generic)

This is not a page for a specific "Mono Audio". It is a placeholder for the many Mono Audio that are out on the market. Because there are so many of them, and they are easy to find by doing an internet search, we do not attempt to include them in our database. See the More Information section for suggested search terms to use.

Product Description:

Stereo sound, which provides the listener with a wider awareness of sound, depends on the difference in sound from the user's two ears. For a person with hearing in only one hear, though, stereo can be a barrier, especially when listening through headphones, as some of the information is available only to the ear that does not receive it. As an accommodation, the sound can be "mixed down" to monophonic sound, so that all of the information (except the spatial distribution) is provided to both ears.
