Product Description: 

Passa Planes allows the visualization and reading of books through a keyboard that works by automatic scanning and activation by a switch. It can also be activated by a sound picked up by a microphone. Passa Planes is a free program for use by disabled who have mobility impairments and can not read books.

Main Features: 

  • The books must be scanned by teachers and converted to files in graphic or textual format. 
  • To be able to read, the voice synthesizer, UPCTV, is distributed by the "PIE" of the "Department of Education" on the "Sinera 99" disc. 
  • In case this DLL is not available, the reading capabilities cannot be used. 
  • Users can view and read books through voice commands and listen to them through text to speech.
  • The books must be previously scanned and converted to graphic or textual format. 
  • The texts allow Passa Planes to be read both in Catalan and Castilian, and can be read with the voice of man or woman.
