SoothSayer Word Prediction is a word prediction program designed to help those who can type using a standard keyboard but their typing is too slow or they want to improve their typing speed or accuracy, such as people with Repetitive Trauma Syndrome. It is also a text to speech reading program.
Main Features:
- It comes with a complete set of speech tools to help the user read what they're writing.
- Any text that the user can highlight in an application or on a website can be read back to them.
- The user can preview what a word sounds like by pointing at it in the SoothSayer list of word options.
- Then, if it is the word the user wants, they click on it to have it typed for them.
- The AutoEdit Dictionary immediately corrects many typically misspelled words.
- AutoShow - users specify how many keystrokes and how much time SoothSayer should wait before presenting the word choices.
- AutoComplete - AutoComplete uses Smart Key Technology to determine when there is only one possible letter after the letter(s) typed.
- AutoComplete will type that letter (or letters) for the user. Auditory prompt optional.
- Abbreviation Expansion.
- Sentence Completion - Add whole sentences or phrases into the user dictionary, and when the user starts typing them, the sentence will appear in the SoothSayer word list.
