SOS Sordi

An application that was developed jointly by Ente Nazionale Sordi and the Ministry of Interior to ensure equal access to emergency services for deaf people. The project aims to break down the barriers of communication to allow deaf people to manage their lives independently and in full compliance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The app allows the deaf person to request the intervention of the State Police, and the ICA for the breakdown, generating an e-mail that is received and taken over by the central operations of the services requested. In addition to the data of the person requesting help, the app sends the location of the person and allows you to add additional information such as the name of an interpreter of sign language, a family and other useful text.
