Product Description: 

Taxi Sordi is a free app for deaf people. Request and book a taxi in Italy by following a few simple steps. Taxi Sordi identifies a user's position and sends the request directly to the taxi central station. A notification will be sent to the user with the taxi code and the time of arrival.

Main Features: 

  • After registering, choose between different request procedures:
  • "Geolocation", in two different ways:
    • 1) Find me: detect the user's position and forward the request directly to the radio taxi center.
    • 2) Quick request: it detects the user's position, proposes the territorially competent radio taxi centers and the user sends the request to the preferred one.
  • "Manual entry": enter the address manually (city, street, number) and confirm the request.
  • "POIs": By selecting the point of interest where the user is, the request for a taxi is automatically forwarded to the competent radio taxi center.
  • We will immediately send a notification with the initials of the taxi and the arrival time.
  • "TAXI SORDI" also offers a series of advanced services to make the travel easier and easier:
    • Ability to cancel the request or booking if plans change.
    • Ability to store the addresses in the "favorites" section to find them more easily to use them again.
    • Ability to consult the status of the request in real-time.

Primary Specifications: 

  • Requires iOS 8.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
  • It works for booking taxis only in Italy.
