Product Description: 

Voxoofox software is a Word processor and browser with voice synthesis. It is used with the Open Office word processor and Firefox as a tool to help users with difficulties in learning, like dysphasia, to read.

Main Features: 

  • A toolbar is found in the Open Office word processor that allows different functions of speech synthesis.
  • Playback can be of total pages or selections by word, sentence, paragraph or while typing.
  • Teaching tool: Words and parts of a sentence can be chosen and shown in a colored rectangle to compare and illustrate along with the same or similar words in another sentence.
  • Integrates Pico speech synthesis (SVox), OpenOffice Portable and Firefox Portable on Windows.
  • System SAPI voices are also supported and a dialog box allows settings for voice parameters.
  • In Firefox there are keyboard shortcuts and/or buttons that trigger playback by Pico Svox voice.
  • Microsoft Speech Platform 11 voices can also be used.
  • VoxOoFox also integrates spellcheckers and grammar checkers (Dicollecte and Grammalecte) which will help people who need reading and writing assistance, in French.
  • It is possible to indicate the destination path of users choice for downloading.
  • VoxOoFox does not install anything in the Windows registry.
  • VoxOoFox contains educational and technical documentation.
