Word Completion (Generic)

This is not a page for a specific "Word Completion". It is a placeholder for the many Word Completion that are out on the market. Because there are so many of them, and they are easy to find by doing an internet search, we do not attempt to include them in our database. Product Description: 

For some users with disabilities, the effort to type long words can be a barrier. This is also true of those with low literacy, for whom spelling can be a challenge. Some operating systems feature "word completion" that, when activated, auto-completes the word currently being typed. The auto-completion typically produces 3 words for the user to choose from.

To activate word completion in Mac:

Begin typing a word in an application that uses macOS input processes.  Press the F5 key.  A list of completions to the word will appear.  Click on the desired word.

To activate word completion in Windows 10:

For hardware keyboards: Click on Devices > Typing. Go to the Hardware keyboard section. Toggle the Show text suggestions as I type to the On position.

For software keyboards: Go to the Software keyboard section and toggle to enable, as well.

For iOS and Android devices: 

Auto-complete is enabled by default.
