Printing
The method used to produce printed tactile output depends on how it will be used.
- The most common tactile printing is Braille. Braille, for those who can read it, allows quick consumption of content, though it is bulky.
- Embossed text allows the same text to be read by blind and sighted readers, but is best used when only a small amount of text is being produced.
- Not all computer output is in the form of language. For drawings, graphs, and other non-text output, "tactile graphics" can be provided.
