AutoVerbal Pro is a text-to-speech direct selection and symbolic alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) app designed for use by individuals with communication, cognitive, learning, developmental or speech disabilities, or autism.

Main Features: 

  • It enables an iOS device to function as an alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) system for people who cannot speak or have difficulty speaking.
  • It features three ways to speak:
    • Using the hundreds of built-in phrases in over a dozen categories.
    • Programming one or more buttons to speak custom messages such as name, address, and family names.
    • Typing words or sentences to be spoken using the program's text-to-speech capability.
  • It offers the ability to use custom photos for the primary category of buttons.
  • It has prerecorded male and female voices for many of the standard buttons.
  • The first row of buttons can be customized by touching the “Help” button to enter the custom mode.
  • Hundreds of buttons use Premium TTS voice, prerecorded, even when the Internet is not available.
  • Custom TTS phrases can be assigned to the Top Row of buttons.
  • Voices include U.S. Male, U.S. Female, and U.K. Male.
