The Braci mobile app is a sound alert app designed for use by individuals who are deaf, or hard of hearing. The app can detect a wide range of sounds, such as smoke alarms, doorbells, babies crying, car horns, and more. The app then alerts users of these sounds through vibration and flashing lights.

Main Features: 

  • Braci uses a smartphone's built-in microphone to constantly listen to the environment when a user activates "Detection Mode".
  • It then alerts the user by vibrating their smartphone, flashing its camera light (flashlight), and showing an icon image of the current event on the screen.

Primary Specifications: 

  • Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Requires iOS 7.1 or later. 
  • Compatible with Android. Requires 4.0.3 and up.
