The Discover:Switch is a single-switch keyboard modification and on-screen keyboard program designed to enable children with physical disabilities to access popular educational software.
Main Features:
- The voice-output switch Enables students to use educational software, send e-mail, and operate multimedia programs.
- Includes all necessary software to enable it to display and speak a standard keyboard layout or to display and speak words, phrases, or sentences displayed in a keyboard-style matrix.
- The system includes the large-surface switch with on/off control, two jacks to connect the user's personal switches, and a permanently attached cable for ease of connection.

Primary Specifications:
- Combatible for use on Macintosh or IBM.
- Macintosh computers require an ABD port or iMate adapter, System 7.5.3 or later, a 68030 processor or better, six megabytes (MB) of hard disk space, eight MB RAM, and CD-ROM drive.
- IBM require a Pentium or better processor, Windows 95 or higher, a minimum of 16 MB RAM, a minimum of 35 MB hard disk space, CD-ROM drive, and a Sound Blaster or compatible sound card.
- The switch surface is five inches in diameter.
