Product Description: 

E-Text Reader is a voice output reading, writing, and studying tool that can be used by individuals who are blind or have low vision or learning disabilities. It will read the many literature titles now available in electronic format (“E-Books or E-Text”) and documents in Standard Text, Microsoft Word, RTF (“Rich Text Format”), HTML, and DAISY formats.

  • Includes an auditory highlighting feature, which enables users to see and hear the most relevant parts of a document through audible changes. 
  • Continuous reading of electronic books and documents aloud.
  • Highlight/Extract study tools.
  • Content Summary.
  • It can access files from a local drive and Cloud-based storage services such as Google Drive and Dropbox.
  • Users can copy and paste text from any program into E-Text Reader.
  • Read electronic documents aloud continuously.  Users can stop and continue reading anywhere within the document.
  • Adjustable voice rate allows users to control the speed of the selected voice.
  • Highlight with four different colors: Blue, Green, Pink, and Yellow.  
  • Customize how highlights are extracted: Based on a single color or all the colors of the highlighted information.
  • Document format retention: Format of the extracted information is retained during extraction including graphics that are part of the highlighted text.
  • Highlights can be read aloud. 
  • Users can select to read all the highlighted information or just text in one highlight color.
  • Increase or reduce Summarize Percentage tailored to specific needs.
  • Insert an unlimited number of bookmarks anywhere in a document.
  • Bookmarks can be saved so users can locate their bookmarks the next time they open their electronic document in E-Text Reader.
  • Navigate from bookmark to bookmark.
