Product Description: 

Extreme Reader XR-10, is an optical character recognition (OCR) device designed for use by individuals with blindness or low vision or other print disabilities. This stand-alone OCR system converts printed text and text stored on compact disks (CDs) or floppy diskettes to audible speech, large screen magnification (video monitor or TV with VGA Adapter required, but not included), a transportable electronic file format, or braille. It reads up to 20 books (thousands of pages each) at a time, allowing for safekeeping and retrieval of large documents.
