Translates to Braille
Approximately 10% of people who are blind read Braille, a pattern of raised dots that match each letter of the alphabet. Computer Braille uses eight rather than six dots to display eac symbol, to allow encoding the full set of symbols.
Computer generated Braille can be output for two destinations:
- Refreshable Braille displays
- Braille formatted for printing through a Braille printer
