Work-related activities
Accessibility is related to work in two ways.
- Some people work to create or assess accessible products and may depend on special tools to determine if a specific product or program meets the requirements of accessible design.
- Just like the rest of us, people with disabilities who are employed often depend on access to information technologies in the workplace. Some mainstream applications provide an accessible or adaptable interface, but others do not, and may require special accommodation.
