Multi-Button Device
Dedicated communication devices may have printed letters, words, or icons that the user can select among. These icons do not change as the person makes selections. Alternatively, a device may use a touch-sensitive video display to show available choices. These dynamic displays change content as the user make selections, which may be easier to understand, but may not be as durable as devices with printed displays.
