Assistive Listening

When a person with limited hearing is trying to listen to a conversation or broadcast, often background sounds interfere.  Many of the solutions available bring the sound more directly into the ears of the listener.

  • Headsets, worn by the person with moderate hearing loss, can allow the volume to be increased for the wearer without disturbing those nearby.
  • Hearing Aid Loops feed the sound signals directly to the hearing aids of the user.  Commonly, these are wire loops worn around the neck, and do not interfere with head movement.
